PLN Class

What I have learned in this class is how many ways u can do school projects and make them fun. One of my favorite projects was Studyblue because I could make study fun and not use paper at all. I really liked all of the Web 2.0 sites but one I had troubles was pixton cause every time I had to refresh the website I lost all I had and had to start from scratch. I really enjoyed this class cause I learned a lot of websites that can help me in the future. :)

Flamenco/Belly dancing

What I learned in my Passion project is the history of belly and Flamenco dancing,the different types of the two dances and a lot of other information. What I loved about this project is researching what I love and talking to different professional dancers. There is nothing I disliked about this project. I would show my project to dancers or people that don’t dance of any age. Google Documents

My partner and I finished our project. My partner's name is Maria and she is from Philly. Are Project was about what kind of music and songs we love. We did our project on Google Docs. Google Docs is a really easy Web 2.0 tool. It is like a Power Point but you can share with people that can edit the project.

pixton

Pixton is such a fun Web 2.0 tool. You get to make your comic and Characters. I really enjoyed this tool. :) <3

Prezi project

Daphne and I did a prezi on 1 on 1 laptops and how they are useful in school. Like you can use Twitter and Facebook  to ask people questions about what you are interested, for example I ask people about dance colleges and information about dance jobs on Facebook. You can also use dipity  for projects. Dipity is when you use a timeline and add pictures and videos.

Social Network

On Wednesday night my PLN Class went to the Social Network at the  Jordan Creek Theater. Social Network is about a 19 year-old boy named Mark Zuckerberg (the inverter of Facebook). Mark gets sue by Divya Narendra and twins Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss. Why this three boys sued Mark is because they said Mark took their idea of Facebook. I would give this movie a 4 1/2 stars.
